My favorite subject to capture has always been nature and water photography. As of recently, being able to go into New York and take photos has become another favorite since there's so much diversity. I love all the color, patterns, lights and candid shots involved in city photography. Having the telephoto lens in the city creates a huge advantage for what I was looking for because I could get closer shots than if I had a 18-55mm lens on the ground. This photography is special because they create memories of the city I love but don't get to visit often. It was important to capture the beauty and chaos of city life. All of my photos are taken with a low POV since the city towers over everything. I love that this series has all different colors in the sky and it's not all the same blue sky or overcast scene. I have a pattern in trying to find less complex scenes such as photos four and ten, but I challenged myself to take photos that are busy like photos four and five. Challenging myself for this series was beneficial because it lead me to apply what I've learn over the years to subjects I've never photographed before.
